Ok, time for another update. :dancer:



From the 2 small tubs and 2 bigs tubs I have been talking about in previous posts. I  have now harvested a majority of the smaller tub and completely harvested the two larger ones.


Over the course of 3 days, I've been able to harvest and dry 3Oz and 4.6gs. I still have more to harvest and more drying :wink:


I have completely harvested everything off of the two big tubs and now they are being dunked. Since I was able to get 3 Ozs from them, with a little help from the smaller tubs, I will keep them going to see if they will produce anything more. Keep in mind this is already after over a month of fruiting and harvesting.:thumbup:


As for all the brand new tubs I put into fruiting 2 days ago....:awejeez:


I'm pleased to announce that I already have pins!!!! So from the time I put them into colonization from their jars, to fruiting from colonization, it has been 9 days and I already have pins!!

The total weight that I have received is 3 Ounces and 4.6gs, or 88.6g dry.

That is how I dunk my tubs. It is two pots(used for plants) and a weight, to keep the bulk substrate submerged. Works great for me :thumbup:

Heh yea it looks weird. But I was originally going to buy weights for all of my tubs at like $3 a weight and 3 weights per tub because it seemed the like cheapest and easiest route at the time..Then I saw the pots for only $2 each and I had an idea that they just might work. And they do work, better even!:thumbup:

But yea, I am updating the tek on the first page bit by bit. :grin: For all of those who are interested, feel free to check up on it as I go. As I said, by the end of today it will be done, and hopefully we can get some noobs informed. :thumbup:

Update on Current Grow :

So now I have completely harvested everything off of those 3 tubs(2 big and one small) and everything has been dried. My total is



3 oz(left) 15.3g(right)...and its all gone already...which is why im showing 2 pics instead of 1. :dancer:

Whats a flat steam strainer? and a pipe plug? I'm an Aussie, might use different terminology lol. Also can a different type of agar be used instead of the ones you listed? I can't seem to find any local.

A flat steam strainer is something you would steam vegetables on. Pretty much something that isn't looped. Another canning rack would work as well. Wish I had pictures or a link, but I was unable to find them. I'm not even sure if the terminology I'm using is correct.

Other agar solutions, I'm not sure... I would read around the forums and see what is available seeing as how you are unable to purchase it.

Pipe plugs are the things you see on my SAB, the can be found at any hardware department.

An update on my current grow :

Well it has been a little over a day since my last update on my work.

Here is how things are looking :



This is what it looked like 2 days ago



Here it is today. Some of my other tubs are starting to show signs like how this tub was looking the other day, with a few small baby fruits. Otherwise the rest still are not showing any fruiting results. Once I get a few more tubs that look like this one, I'll be sure to add more pics.



Here is some side pinning on a 27 quart tub. No liner -.0 Sorry about the blurriness.

I'll post another update in a day or so.:grin::thumbup:
