I bought this book a week ago… it's great! I can easily see now how shrooms along with knowing these techniques could open for the creative flow.

O.P is talking about his own personal creative side sober.
Not that of Zappa or Pendleton Ward, yes both these people were very creative and 'sober' people. But remember O.P that though it may seem like those ideas that seem to just come to you completely are still entirely created by you. The result of your day and past experiences mixed with the present happenings. You probably have similar brain waves running through your mind all the time - the only difference is that you pin point specific ones with the help of psychedelics.

I'm sure you are still as great sober as you are on drugs - the only difference is that when something comes to you high - it probably seems a fuck tonne greater than when you are putting heaps of thought into something sober.

I too am I writer/artist. Personally one of my best pieces came to me after my first mushroom trip. I was sober - but reflecting on the emotions the mushrooms gave me.

The thing I find is when sober - I analyse every little thing I do and when Im high Im really care free and just let it flow. As much as that can be a good thing - both can go well - both can go bad.

I understand where your coming from alot!:flowerchild: Sometimes things cause just sink it to some sort of a lul out of now where. I try to just be creative lol. Just try. All you can do right? :peace:

Surround yourself with fun people, try not to tie yourself down with too many anchors and go have fun. Find some sun and good things will happen.. :sunny: Im Sure.
