Do you know you're going to die for sure? How long between your health fails and you die? Is it going to be painful? Are you okay with euthanasia?
With no one depending on me and no commitments...
Personally if I knew I was going to die for sure and had a fixed time frame, I'd probably work my ass off and save as much as possible for 6-12 months, take out all the balance transfers I could muster, sell everything, fly to a remote, beautiful, and cheap tropical or sub-tropical destination and spend the last 2-3 years of my healthy life hiking, swimming, teaching English, helping people, etc. When my health starts to fail quickly, I'd probably wait until I came to peace with ending it. Then I'd end it. Any remaining funds I'd pass onto to better the community where I spent my last few years. I'd hope to be able to make a difference in someone's life besides my own before I passed.
Would beat the shit out of dying in a hospital in the US after working trying to pay medical bills.
Actually, road-tripping around the US in a van living off the land my last few years and helping people down on their luck wouldn't be too bad either. Another avenue to consider.
Edit: Whoops. Anon #5 and Anon #7 know what's up.
