Whos got the fastest internet connection on shroomery??

Im on 100% fiber optics

It goes up to 130 Mbps

Of course computer ethernet can only handle up to 100, but my modem goes up to 130 :awesome:

Cost me 43 quid a month

No one in North or South America. That's for sure.

The fastest home internet connections are all in Europe and Asia.
I believe South Korea or Japan has the fastest home services in the world.

All the Scandinavian countries are super quick too. Finland, Sweden, Switzerland...

Whenever I run a speed test I usually get right around 20-30MB/s.

I have no problem downloading torrents at 10+ MB/s as long as the seeders are there, and there's still plenty of bandwidth to browse the internet, watch youtube, etc... with no lag.

It usually takes me less than 5 minutes to download a movie.

Idk what speed I actually pay for, but it's $35 a month.

They were talking about putting Verizon fios around here, idk what ever happened with that though.

it should be noted that mbps(megabits) per second is completely different than MB/s (megabytes) per second

:lol: Yeah when I get on an LTE network with my phone I am blown away by the speed. Considering the fact I am on the last mile of DSL and get a whopping Download Speed: 1282 kbps (160.3 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 738 kbps (92.3 KB/sec transfer rate)

It sucks too, I am about a half mile from 3g service and cable internet.
Instead I get crappy DSL and roaming 1x(no data) cell service.

Oh well, better than dial-up or satellite which would be just down the road, or where I am but just a couple years ago.

I miss my old 5mb/s connection, but I don't miss living in that hell hole.
