Sisal Twine purchased from Home Depot last summer... a few weeks after buying the roll, I noticed it was being colonized... instead of returning it, I decided to keep it out of hoping it might have been seeded by the oyster mushrooms fruiting from the grow kits there....

No oysters, but was interesting anyways....... I kinda want to return it now, just to see how they would react.

Very happy to have gotten some rain, but we need ALOT more than what we are expecting to get anytime soon....

Glad I am on a saturated deep water well... but  most others will not be so lucky...
however, the grape growers across the street just went deeper than us, which could dry us out if this drought continues through next year.

Hmmm, Sisal Twine.... Wow!!
Once I found Schizophyllum commune fruiting from The building material "Aspenite", an Oriented Strand Board(OSB) made from Aspen. This fungus is prolific, almost scary, imagine if there was a cordyceps-like fungi that could take out humans.

There are several, ironically one of the most common is Schizophyllum commune.

By 'take out' you mean infect nasal passageway of people with severely diminished immune systems, right?

Thanks to all the snow and rain we've had, I don't think we're gonna have to worry about drought here this year. Floods maybe...
