You know what man, I've yet to read a coherent well reasoned post from you. You're consistently one of the poorest debaters on this site and I'm going to delegate you to the ignore list.

:fonz:

ya, i am the only one here making well reasoned and coherent arguments.

all anyone else has done is disagree with me, "the hippies" too, and then have gone on to point out that the cop has a family, and that if anyone of you wer in that situation YOU would ahve done the same thing... which is not only faulty logic, but is alos not even the point... THE COP is TRAINED to deal with situations... at this point, with the lax nature of people's accrediting cops actions to "impenetrable" in nature, you are not only helping to devolve the natural ability to see right from wrong, but you're also allowing STUPID IDIOTS (such as...) to be authority figures in society; stupid idiots by the way that have no self-control. much like yourselves, which makes this all the more ironic... but nonetheless, you are blind as a bat, my friend. you can say i'm not being "coherent" but at least i am making an actual statement (and with impecable grammar too, minus the capitalizations) and making a logic discourse in the argument... all you other people are doing is donning simple one-liners and platitudes.

platitudes and mob ignorance makes me sick. you people are vomitous in your outrage against me, and "hippies" and yet don't see how outrageous it is to leave tag-lines around as if they justify the reality of being a cop as being inherent and scrupulously "life or death" at every waking moment, which is ASININE and fucking stupid as fucking all hell would hath raging in it's digestive tract.

i hope you ignorant people indulge yourself further so that i may strike down your pitiful pursuits as mere folly.

as i can do so easily with a single breadth of my mind, because i actually HAVE mental and physical fortitude. fuck, i should the cop... i'd protect you people from yourselves, and not the other way around.

Having a gun is no guarantee of safety.

This guy stabs multiple cops who all have their guns at the ready. All this talk that he should have "shot him in the leg" is nonsense. That's not how weapon on weapon confrontations play out. Someone with a knife presents a lethal threat, and necessitates lethal force in response. There are lots of things this cop could have done to avoid killing this man like he did. They would ALL have prioritized the life of the guy who was trying to kill him, over his own life. In this situation the most sensible thing to do was give to kill the knife wielding, man who may have assaulted him with lethal force at any second.

Most of the people who think this cop is some kind of trigger happy psycho know nothing about gun or blade violence.

YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THE FUCK A COPS JOB IS

neither do you. a GOOD and ACCURATE and PROFESSIONAL police officer is not supposed to handle the situation like that fuckhead did, and any GOOD cop would tell you that. you're just making excuses for the cops lack of awareness, because A: you feel bad for cops, in their dangerous jobs (so do i) B: you feel like cops should be like any civilian, and that is to say that they should at the sight of any potential harm shoot first to protect themselves so that they can get home to their families; which is true in the case of a criminal robbery or pursuit (still doesn't happen though) but NOT IN THE CASE of a potential suicide victim. C: you feel like he did back up enough (this is for MEME's whom i commend for at least being objective here, cept when he called me batshit lol) and that the "kid" in question was too close for comfort, and that he had to put him down for his own safety and the safety of others; which is not true... people were outside, where there is lots of room to backpedal or run away... same goes for the cop... IF he went outside (you don't see police officers going into potential or active crime scenes [ie robbery] at all, essentially; unless it is a home invasion and they have to acquisition a suspect; which in this case WAS NOT THAT because the "suspect" was really VICTIM and he was also not homicidal, HE WAS SUICIDAL; which puts the cops the position to ideally have to help him to prevent a suicide (which is illegal) and the cop DID NOT do that. he was not called above the line of duty, IN THE LEAST, and all he had to do was, after identifying the problem was back up and leave the house to have an open line of communication with the "kid" in question. (which he obviously wasn't trained for well enough)

you people can argue your fanatical bullshit all you want. i will simply should down your feeble attempts to justify the sick debasement of your morality via your enforcers, but you can try all you want.

hit someone from that far away. here's some fat teenager throwing scissors at another kid.

you can try and compare two entirely different situations based on your perception of platitudes, but you'd be not giving enough foresight into just how those situations turned out, cause you weren't there nor did you see any capturing of the event.

i took Kung-Fu lessons from my Uncle for 3 years, i am aware of the 20 ft rule... but the cop had a whole house to surround the suspect, by simply LEAVING THE HOUSE. as i have argued before (and since people love bringing up old arguments lets give it a "shot" *wink*) "what? could he throw a knife THROUGH A FUCKING WALL?"

wow, internet meme = veritable proof that you don't need training to actually throw knives effectively.

 "not to mentioned" (:flowstone:) it was an ACCIDENT.

you people can't tell apart accident from intentional, can't you?

oh and lets get more youtube videos in here, to help gel all our meandering points together eh? mob rules

The only reason people defend cops in situations like this is because they like the idea of killing lesser people. There is no reason for that cop to have entered that building, no one was in immediate danger.

i would love to be able to cement clearly why people endear themselves to their slave mentality so lovingly... but i can't... no one can, because people at a fault are occasionally, if not consistently immoral jackasses.

xanderofpella said:

i can't even dignify that ambiguous retort with an actual response.

PS: for the record, i believe in gun safety and likewise (and according to this message board, hypocritically) an appropriate proportional response to gun safty. cop was not a "gun toting crazy", and feel sorry for him losing his cool in a situation that could have turned out even hairier then it already did. unfortunately, as anyone with a pair of eyes (or one even) can see, all he had to do was back... the... fuck...

... up.

bold. BOLD, good sir. your insight is astounding... he had to... he had to check on him, because he was a potential threat to himself. yes, now if only ... if only he could have done something for the kid other then take his life for him.

In a situation where lethal force would have to be applied if things escalated? No. It isnt. Three hellos and a walk in with gun drawn is a retarded response to this situation.

PS: i feel bad for vilifying the cop like i did (by calling him an idiot) because A: it hurt my argument and B: even more idiotic (wait for iiit), i use the word "idiot" too much to describe actions (or inaction) which i personally deem "too stupid to have not seen coming" for an individual.

i'm sorry, but the cop,... i don't "blame" for doing what he did, i don't suggest "actually" that he be punished (as that's for the courts to decide and i really don't actually give a fuck what happens from here on out because the deed is already done, kids dead, end of story), and i don't literally want America to burn in maelstrom of idiocy. (even though i'd advocate for it, if i actually knew some of you people and you were actually as "deranged" as you seem on my computer screen)

i just want someone to see the actions from the cops as what they were... inept... foolish... immoral (which i'm sure he feels pretty bad about :sadyes: ) and in dereliction of his duty as a protector of "victims" of crimes and accidents. practically a beat cop, i don't know how most of you people can sit here, watch the video, and blindly be un-able to see that he wasn't prepared for NOTHING like he should have been; and maybe at the very very least, could have taken a few breaths before entering, because he gave the kid NO OPTIONS aside from a few crass commands.

NO SINGLE PERSON HERE is a robot who takes to commands like they are programmed to... YOU, only do that to yourselves.

that is all.

someone, please, prove me wrong.

metaphorical PS: i agree with the poster's statement below me. i just don't want the page to turn... i want someone to prove me wrong in my showing certain user's predilection's towards security over freedom and rights, and what's morally unambiguous.

Its not done for his sister, or who ever that was, or his family. Because of this cops gung-ho attitude somethings been destroyed that can never be replaced. He shouldnt be locked up, but this isnt a person that should have the ability to weigh peoples lives.
