hypersexuality... how common do you think it is actually in western society?

so.. lately i been wondering this. how common is it to be highly sexual person where you enjoy fucking more then anything else?

i think its probabably more common then most people like to admit to themselves or whatever.



also, what are some personality traits you might think would contribute to a girl or dude becoming a sexual being?

me personally i like to fuck all night every once in awhile. and if its a girl im in love with lets stretch that to all day and into the next night. also i love to masturbate and usually cant start my day without getting off. and i kegel daily for like the last 14 years or so since i was a teen to increase my stamina and its just good for your dick. :tongue:

id say one of the most contributing factors to my libido seems to be the passion and emotion that i have in my typical behavior. whether its from my artistic mnd or free thinking mind im not too sure which is why i made this post.


what do you guys think about sex addicts? any experiences or opinions are welcome.

I find the wide range of human behaviors fascinating. However I myself have never experianced sex so I couldn't comment on any addiction to it however I think it would be fine as long as its all consensual.

I wouldn't say I enjoy fucking more than anything else but I definitely consider sex to be one of the best things in life. As for how common this is I'd say it's fairly common as it drives the existence of our species and is the pinnacle of social experience.

I would say being a free thinking, open minded person. Society really has a way of fucking up peoples sexuality. I mean look at film and television: bloody, gruesome murders? bring it on! Sex between loving, consensual partners? Disgusting take it off, write a letter ban the show.

I think a free thinker is able to realize that sex is simply the highest most enjoyable form of social activity. Whereas the easily conditioned people think of it like some kind of vice, or something strange and perverse.

I have been accused of being a sex addict but to me that's like saying I'm a food addict. I eat food, I enjoy food and I can't live without it. However I can still control what I eat, when and how I eat it. Same can be said for sex.

I think a true addict is a person who is unable to control the way in which they indulge and resort to such things as rape or knowingly having sex with people who have STDs

good post dawks. i agree that art is where are ideas of taboo and conditioning are of most influence as it really taps into our subconscious desires and aspirations. always has been and probably always will be our most valuable tool as a species.

greed has played a great hand to devolving art in all aspects but im sure that a revolution of the mind so to speak will be on the horizon. hopefully sooner rather then later

I'm hypersexual, from what I ready it's a lot more common in bi-polor people, which I am.
I find that it is particularly bad when ever I am cycling manic, witch would make sense.
As all aspects of our lives continue to me more sexualized, I only expect this to become more common.

i think everyone is literally different, different experiences, different feelings, they see different people.


in other words, some people are genuinely asexual, i have a fluid sexuality. i have fantasies, but they don't quite match up to the real deal.

interesting i have a tendency to aspergers or adhd behavior so that makes sense.

still though i sometimes wish it was easier to find partners that are as equally zealous about sex.. not to mean that its healthy to base a relationship on it. but its just important to have things in common that are important to us. so yeah i wish it was more common and i hope youre right that it does become so.

i thought i did too, till i realized i was only quite, looking blank, and not able to socially communicate with people and appear normal because i was always stoned,and stressing out over ridiculous things like how i look, how i walk, how i talk, my girlfriend, every since i got a little chubbier - and when im stoned i get into a sort of pyschosis. when i quit smoking, n accomplish things i feel better, my perception changes overall when im strong and dont allow myself to fall back into old habbits and thoughts. in other words, living in the moment. and not being to hard on myself. no one is perfect, look closely into anyone and you'll notice there flaws, so take every experience with a grain of salt n think about your dreams instead

I think it's extremely common, a lot more common than people are willing to admit, for fear of being a "freak".  I for one know I'd do it 5 times a day given the opportunities.  Furthermore, I would never commit to 1 woman, ever.  Variety is the spice of life, and there are plenty of horny girls out there that feel the same way.
