HELP, theres bees in my house!

Okay so what the fuck.

On Saturday we noticed a bee walking around on the floor of our apartment, we assumed they were catching a ride on the cats when they'd come inside, but then later that night we found another one. So two in one day, this was weird.

But now I'm finding 2-3 a day since! Usually they are stuck in the windows, or dead on the floor. The only thing I can think of is that they are crawling in through the gap under the back door (we live upstairs)

Its like all these bees have decided to come into my house and fucking die!  Is this a sign?! There's one in the window right meow, I can hear it buzzing and I'm scared. I'm home alone. :frown:

Does this mean there's a hive nearby?! I'm freaking out

I would guess you have a hive very close by or more likely, in your house somewhere (attic maybe?)

I called the manager and he said he would let the pest man know but that fool doesn't come around until Thursday.

I'm worried about getting stung or them attacking my cats.

I have also applied duct tape to that gap under the door and he still found a way in.

We had the same thing happen a long time ago at my moms house when I was a kid. There was a small crack on the outside of the house under the kitchen window where my dad had done some plumbing work with the drain there. Well it turns out that they went in and built a hive inside the wall.

To get them out my dad set up a coffee can with a hose attached to the lid, he then burned some rags until they were producing a lot of smoke, threw them in the can, put the lid on and stuck the hose into the crack, When they all flew out he quickly sealed up the wall and they never came back

Has to be a hive in your walls take a glass and put it to the wall and see if you can hear a humming this will tell you directly where the hive is.

Yeah it was pretty freaky, Iactually got stung on the face once, but it happened outside right where the crack in the wall was

Be careful, if the entire hive swarms, it would be enough bee stings to cover an entire person with bees. Like the swamp man, but covered with bees instead.

Viva- can you identify or post a pic of the bee by chance?

Is it the honey be, AKA Apis Mellifara, or are they some other species of bee?

They are the orange and black ones, look like honey bees. They don't appear to have their stingers tho but wtf so I know.

Its in the front window. Its loud and I'm scared
