some things better left unexplained?
    #1852546 - 08/26/03 08:54 PM (13 years, 10 months ago)

I want to understand what I've gone through / am going through now... but it seems what it is, is the actuall act of thinking about it. Like if I try and explain it I'm getting sucked into the void of it again. I would say simply that it is just a broken thought process that only ends up as anguish... I guess I'll leave it at that.

i have this need to 'wrap up the story' so to speak, meaning the shit that's been bothering me for so long. I want to categorize it and file it away where I won't have to deal with it again, also in hopes I could help other people with the information somehow... But to explain the inner workings of "thinking too much" you have to go back there...

like someone who wants to get into the mind of a serial killer, but realizes the only way to do that is to actually become one..

so yea. fuck it, I guess. I'll just leave it alone.

any thoughts?

heh I know what you mean. I came to a realization a while back that I am only human at this point and that answers won't come readily.  For a couple years I worked on one thing (judgement) and I know I have barely hit the tip of the iceberg.  It's alright though because I know that I potentially have 60+ years to work on it. BTW what do you mean your thought process gets broken, I mean I think I know what you mean but a better description would help (if you can
I guess it's all about perspective.  I see it as a great thing that I don't readily get the answers I want, therefore I have to put some energy into it. sure I want to move on to other things but I have to take my time, that's one thing we do have you know!  I guess what I'm trying to say is to keep searching, and don't give up, even when it seems trifle. yeah some things won't even get answered, but that's the kick ass part about being human! IMHO

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.---senior doobie

they can only be experienced, never rationalized

Hey Grav I think I know what you're talking about... A few years back, right before I was certified, my mind was going a million trillion times faster than it normally does. I was having all sorts of weird thoughts on the universal grande scheme of things (for lack of a better explanation, I'm sure you know what I mean). I've never been able to get back to that point that I was stuck in for those few months.. Probably because they suppressed it with a plethora of drugs, but whatever - it's probably better this way.

No one knows the worth of innocence till he knows it is gone forever, and that money can't buy it back. Not the saint, but the sinner that repenteth, is he to whom the full length and breadth, and height and depth, of life's meaning is revealed. Good and evil loose all objective meaning and are seen as equally necessary and contrasting elements in the masterpiece that is the universe.

seems to me you need to just relax and not over-think things all the time..find something u truley enjoy and simply enjoy yourself without examining it....breathe deeper...tiake your time.... notice it.
i like light rain. it gives one such a sense of calmness and tranquility. i enjoy walking in the rain.

Perhaps, but we don't know exactly which those things are. There are many things that defied explanation in the past, but can be explained now.
