Dungeons and Dragons! (3.5)

I really wanted to create a forum for this, but alas, you have to be a supporter!

This thread is for anyone who plays, has played or has any interest in d&d. My personal experience is rooted in 3.5, but of course any discussion is encouraged.

I'm currently running a small game, consisting of myself (dm) and 2 players, a Ranger and a Rouge. It's pretty interesting trying to accommodate both skillsets.

[SPOT CHECK] You see a few users lurking in the shadows, afraid to bring their Lvl 7 Nerd to the surface. There's so many of them, what's that insignia woven into that cloak?

I've been playing DnD for approx.
17 years.

Last game was two weeks ago
It was
''Fallout''

and it took place in CT.

Actually there is a role play user created forum. We had a d& d game going but it kinda fell off. You can probably start a game there if u want.

I've always been interested but I've never been able to get anyone else on board*
but I recently acquired a baby girl so I'm hoping I can make some sort of interactive fairy tail and transposition her into the real thing when she's a little older :hellfire:

* I had started a game of vampire the masquerade but the gm wasn't very punctual and didn't last long
** I was also invited to a group but unfortunately my work schedule changed and I was unable

I really want to play D&D but I haven't yet. I know a couple friends of friends who play but nobody really personally. Maybe I should look into starting my own... No, I should find a group.

My friends and I used to play 2nd edition back in the day.  I never liked what Wizards did with 3rd edition on after they bought out TSR.

2nd edition FTW.

I played it briefly in between magic the gathering and Ultima Online.  Don't play it anymore though cause I no longer have any imagination.

you don't NEED imagination, though (it helps a bit though)
you just need to like group think, team work and problem solving.

I DM a lot of 4e stuff. with my friends, I can't get enough of it, with good people its always a good time

Tried to get an RP thread going a while ago, but everyone bailed.

Yeah I will also join the new game once we have a restart. Do work odd hours and in about a month I will have no Internet while I camp for 3-4 weeks :awesomenod:

I'm all about 2nd edition.  THAC0 4 LYFE.  If you are not smart enough to figure out how it works then you dont need to play. :laugh:
