So does he worship all the different dieties at appropriate times? Does he do ceremonies to one god during a certain month, equinox or solstice, and another during a different season?
Or does he worship the God of the sea before a sea-voyage, the god of battle before a fight, and the god of healing when he is sick? That kind of thing?
Does he worship all the gods, or just the Dwarven Pantheon of Gods? For example does he also worship the human and elven gods, or does he worship a pantheon of dwarven Gods like the gods of Law, Mining, the Forge, War, Honour and Duty?
Is his alignment good or evil, generally? What sorts religious motivations does he have?
Clerics are so cool. The aspect of gods being real and clerics being their mortal servants with actual connection to them makes for such interesting roleplaying and storyline opportunities.

He'll be Chaotic Neutral with good tendencies. He worships all God's, like as an overall he worships divinity. He's realized the name of the game is gaining worshipers. He doesn't mind lending his worship in exchange for a little power from time to time. It seems to him as though most teachings are incomplete and ignorant, but its okay because the truth is both ineffable and indescribable.
For the most part he's into seeding chaos into society where he sees fit. Believes a field of scattered stones has a much more interesting story than a stone wall. That sort of thing.

Changing the world not by ideology, but by finding the hidden middle. Straddling the line between true and false he embraces the universe.

That's the beauty of role-playing. There aren't any winners or losers. Just play what you feel man.

I am pretty flexible . DM should decide how often he can manage since it means work for him. Once a week or more ?
I'm Happy to play as much as possible but no Rush !

I'm surprised there isn't more interest in joining. What are our numbers, one DM and three players?
Once a week would be good for me.

Really, with Play-by-post, there's no need to have a set time. You can just post when you see it's your turn.
Though a schedule would probably make things a bit easier.
First we should decide what edition we're going to play.

I have no opinion on that, whatever you guys decide, I feel like the DM should pick since he has the most work to do and should be using his preffered system.

3.5 is my vote. I've got all the books already.

Just want to throw my hat in the ring, I'm game for a 3.5 campaign.
Been using that edition for the past five years, have all the core books and 6 supplements. Would be refreshing to be a PC since I was DMing for a party for 2 years.

Will do, seems like the wizard, cleric, and rogue characters have been taken. I'll have to get creative and see where I'd fit in, I'm inclined torwards psion characters so I'll get back to you within a day or two with a full character write up.

While I'm not too fresh on the crunch behind psionics, I love the fluff so I think it'll add a bit of spice to our party

It's not too difficult to get a handle on. Very similar concepts to caster classes but with a slightly altered mechanic. However it might be more work for you since you'll have to incorporate psionic resistant monsters into the campaign, but god damn there are some cool creatures with psi-like abilities.
Seemed only fitting to have a mental themed character for a party based around a website dedicated to mind altering substances.
I just need to be open with Moonshoe about where I want to go with developing the character, don't want to be stepping on the wizard's toes.

Holy crap guys! We could totally all eat psychedelics one night then play DnD. That's been a long term goal of mine for a while...
Also, does anybody have a PDF of a blank character sheet?

Hmm, I'm not really keen on that idea. It's already pretty hard for me to navigate language and technology in that state.
You could probably find a torrent of the players handbook somewhere, or someone here might already have it on file.
If not I could always scan a character sheet and send it to you.
