What's the best/safest way to add free music to my iPod?

I have an iPod that I haven't even used in over a year because come on, I'm not gonna pay $1.20 or whatever per song... no, just no.

So, what's the best way to download commercial music and put it one my iPod? And hold the viruses please

Take any video from youtube and make it mp3 for free no viruss, and I usually just add albums

archive.org has a huge collection of taper friendly bands' live shows -- that's where i get shows i've attended and such

I vote for mp3 as well. You can also use soundcloud or datpiff for mixtapes and other free stuff. Mainsteam or not.

It's probably the most reliable, malware-free P2P program ever.

If your going to do the Youtube to MP3 rout I would suggest using 4k video downloader.  You can download whole playlists at a time. So what i typically do is browse music on youtube and then add it to playlist and then I periodically download the playlists I create. Always get new music coming.  Program also works great to download whole albums. Only downside is you have to manually edit all the files so they don't look like ARTIST NAME SONG NAME LYRICS NEW ALBUM!!!!!

complete waste of time.. p2p entire albums via soulseek or torrent/usenet them, and you aren't limited to mp3s, m4a, you can get flac too.

what.cd is the ultimate music site, but you have to jump through hoops to get an account.

TPB works just fine so long as you only download from green & purple skulls.
