I am the epitome of someone living in their imagination * 1

95% of the time, I'm thinking about something completely unrelated to where I am or what I'm doing. It takes very little brainpower to maintain control in real life and the rest of the brainpower is dedicated to thinking about random things or imagining things or something along those lines. At work, I've mastered doing everything perfectly without even thinking about completing the tasks or focusing...

I went to a mental health place voluntarily and they don't think there's anything wrong with me because I don't seem to display any signs of mental illness. They think I'm just normal but what they don't understand is that I'm unable to focus on real life or socializing so I just think about random things or imagine things... or maybe I've got it all wrong and I'm just imagining that I'm imagining things and thinking things and I really am focusing on real life. Everything just seems like a blur... like I fail to see what I'm looking at and peripheral vision is all I see. Sometimes I think I have a "videographic memory", like a photographic memory but better.

The more sober I am, the more detached from reality and everything around me I am. I feel smarter when I smoke weed though. :um:

Same here. I can sit for days without doing anything, just sitting, staring at my room and live inside my head. Just going through thoughts, images, etc. OP, I think you're just that kind of person. People always tell me that I'm absent-minded, detached, but I find most things boring. The way people usually talk, I just have to hear their every 5th sentence to understand what they want to say. So I'm usually just out there, daydreaming... :thumbup:
