OK.

The point remains the same.

While I personally send very few PM's, others do. Some of them might like to mass PM people. Telling them the function exists but they can't use it, is tacky at best.

So when is the PM being phased out exactly? I don't really use it that much but it's handy when I have a question for a specific person and don't want everyone else in the forum seeing it.

Also why not have the message box threads appear in a separate list like the current PM system instead of a members thread list?

Could you alter the mailing list feature to work with MsgBox? That'd be ideal if you don't want to add the ability to CC.
At least I think it'd be ideal from a coding perspective. :shrug: You should open source your code or bring a few more people into the loop or something.

ya.. not a fan..
any way to revert ?
mostly on my phone and I have to highlight everything> copy it >then refresh the whole damn page to find out you can't refresh a message pages so I have to hit back, back
reselect the respond button, paste then hit send ..

I have almost said fuck responses I have better uses of my time to tend with.

What's wrong with regular PMs?

Seems like this is just something someone was working on to appear productive and it kinda sucks, but they must've spent a lot of time on it so we're stuck with it to not hurt their feelings.

Nah it'd work fine if it was treated like a private message system and not half journal/half threads you posted in. It'd be the same thing as before but with threaded views and the possibility of having private discussions with more than one person in the same message. But both messages posted to you and messages you posted to others need to show up on the same page, just like any other private message box or email system on the planet. :tongue2:
