theres hardly any difference between this and the old pm system exept u have the added convenience of reviewing all ur past messages with a person neatly in one little thing and now u can make group pm's sounss good 2 me

Why do I have to send a PM about it?  Can we not know what your reason for changing the private message system is?  I'd rather not deal with that messaging system, it's not something I like.  We have threads (such as this) for that.

One thing I disagree with is it shouldn't be called "message box." Just call it "messages."

MsgBox is not the Messages system. If "MsgBox" must exist, then there should be both so that "MsgBox" isn't jammed down everyone's throats like it is now.

Keep both up at least until you iron out all the kinks of the new system you're trying to implement.  Also, why do we have to lose EVERY PM we ever received?  I had phone numbers and addresses of friends there, locations of gathering coordinates, etc.

It seems absurd that we can't just replace the PM system with updated code like MsgBox but presented in a similar format to the old PM system.  The new system is ambiguous about a lot of its features and awkwardly arranged.  I would go so far as to say it's ugly and too busy.  This is an attempt at reinventing the wheel and is totally unnecessary and forcing many users, long-timers especially, to seek other avenues of communication rather than this one which has been perfectly sufficient for years.
