Salt Water Spray to get rid of Cobweb Mold

I am wondering of there are any reasons i couldn't use a salt water misting tek to try and get rid of my cobweb mold problem...i have heard that you cut out the affected areas and sprinkle with nomral table salt, but i cant cut out these areas...so i want to know if a dissolved salt water solution would work or not...and also if there would be any damaging effects to the mycellium?

I never tried such thing but i believe it's ok. Anyway, wait for a more experienced response.
