The jar started to stall at the very bottom so I flipped it. I will not be flipping it again as it increase the risk for contams but I didn't want it to stall out. It is about 97% colonized. There's a spot about the size of a dime left.

Some pics of the fruits from the cake. One good thing about the cake is the little micro-climates it has all over it. The whole grain rice and the oatmeal don't make a solid wall of myc like BRF cakes so there are little divots and indentations all around it. They also retain moisture very very well. It's on its second flush now. Will post a few more pics when they mature.

The dry weight for the first flush for the single Pink Buffalo cake was like 4.5-4.7 grams. It's a pretty small cake to, I cut it almost in half because it stalled. (Honey+Tall Half Pints=Fail) Lmao

Did you pressure cook those? I'm assuming oatmeal wouldn't work with steaming but have never heard of anyone trying it.

I steamed it for around 90 minutes. Maybe a tad bit less.
