oatmeal substrate

I was eating a bowl of maple syrup oatmeal this morning, and I remembered what i have always wanted to try, to see if mycelium would colonize oatmeal, so before i could finish the whole bowl, i quickly coverted it with foil, and innoculated it when i came back from work. We will see if it does colonize.
