Im suprised to hear you say that chron. Cotton is organic, polyfil is plastic. Not exactly the same

I used cotton buds and nothing was happening in my tub , maybe polyfil and cotton buds are diff

These first pic was when I added the casing layer , the second is cpl weeks later with tamicropore tape and still no fruiting?

They both do the same job, restrict airflow , cotton is organic which makes no difference as your filters don't ever really get wet , tape is far easier than either though and cleaner

I personally can't stand working with the poly getting little plastic fibers everywhere.

Stuffing nylon leggings worked well but I'll always just tape lol
