ouch, the 'ol nerdy retort.

yeah, see what happens is they try to enter the hack circle, but they fail. they retreat to overly defensive positions ("no brains needed") to justify their incompetence.

by no means is this limited to hackey sack though. no, the conservative drug user is a strange breed, shunned both by the convervative mainstream (well duh) and by the rest of the drug underworld (most drug users understand that liberalism = individual rights / conservatism = moral codes) because of a totall lack of druggie skill. can a conservative.... dance? braid hemp? be nice? the answers are all resoundingly "NO!".

what I'm saying is that this odd mix of lifestyle choices (drugs/neo con) are a product of silly social inadequacies, not a rational decisionmaking process.

besides, hackey sack takes extensive/complex neurological conditioning, as it is the most awesome way to train reflexes. (if your puny brain can't comprehend how sport = brain, read about trail running.)

I tried hacking when i was really high once....i couldn't figure out what was suppose to happen....the sack was always on the ground, and moved at incredible speeds...you'd kick it up, and it would just fall way to fast...

Hack is a much maligned game...my circle always gets a host of stares whenever we take our game to the park or some random parking lot. From a distance, it must look like we're doing some sort of crazy jump-around-for-no-apparent-reason dance.

One of my hack cronies is going so far as to create a fighting style he calls Hack Fu. His basic premise is that intimidation counts; so, if you get in a fight, being able to kick someone in the face with the flat of your foot will go a long way towards getting your opponent to back the fuck off.

And, of course, we always hack better stoned.

I don't know about hackey sack, but I'll tell you one thing: every conservative I've met who does psychedelics just does them for fun and doesn't seem to experience the mind-expanding aspect of it. Are they immune to these effects? Are they just born without a Third Eye?

Im seriously going to break up with my fiancee today because of this. She has done shrooms and smoked weed but she never seems to reach a state of "higher awareness". Now she is telling me i cant do drugs or talk about drugs or even go to this website. she moved out of the room because of it. i think im done with her.

when i trip, it's a profound spiritual experience. i trip for this reason, never just for kicks. to me, mushrooms are not a recreational drug.
