Shitstorm of problems?
    #17126584 -

:shitstorm:
I have come to notice a change in almost every aspect of my mood stability life. I was once this outgoing person, I could walk into a crowded room and make conversation with almost anyone/everyone. I'd find common ground with them and the like. Now I go into a bar/room/whatever, and I'm terrified of people. I don't know how to talk to them anymore. I don't know what to say. I'm just very distant. I haven't really gone out much since the first day I froze up. This probably happened a month ago.
While being home more often I have noticed that I might be developing a bit of O.C.D. There was a dirty plate and fork in my sink and I almost had an anxiety attack about an hour later of constant thinking about how dirty my sink was, and that I had dirty dishes. I went straight to the kitchen and washed them, dried them, and put them away. Then I scrubbed my sink with AJAX, and I felt I could relax. But before I knew it, I saw my DVD's on the bottom shelf of my entertainment center slightly leaning, and one laying flat. So I had to fix it. It even got to the point where I alphabatised them.
Could the social anxiety I'm feeling, be leading to this weird O.C.D. outburst? Is it possible to develop O.C.D. in your mid twenties? I'm kind of freaking out about this. My sister has bad O.C.D. and I used to laugh at it... I wish I hadn't.
What can I do? Advice?

There haven't been any life changing events either. Just for the record.

You say their haven't been any life changing events... so... your life and personality just altered one day?
Doin a lot of drugs? Unemployed?
I think you should go out and give being social a try again, isolating yourself is only going to make it worse. Got any close friends?
I don't think being a neat freak necessarily means you're developing OCD. That didn't really sound obsessive. Sounds more like you were projecting anxious feelings on to that.

I start feeling things like this usually when I'm bored. The mind can play tricks on you to keep itself occupied.

Definitely need to go out and have some fun.

Join a league of some kind of sport you like to play, bowling, darts, softball, whatever they got going in your local area.
