sclerotia loving mushroom question

I'm growing some philosopher stones in rye grow bags.
They're covered almost completely with the white stuff. They will be at 3 months the end of August. I'm told by the vendor they should be ready between 2 and 3 months.
My question is how do you know when they're ready? Any tell-tale signs I should look for?
Also, I'm going on vacation next month. Will it hurt to leave them in there past the time they're ready?

no. but i m not sure and i m not sure also for when you pick them and dry them in drying chamber their potency will increase
