I just recently got a Mexicana A syringe and was planning on growing some Sclerotia. I just was confused on after you grow the Sclerotia and harvest it, do you then separate the still colonized grass seed from it and still grow the accuall mushrooms? I just heard Mexicana A mushrooms were highly hallucagenic and had a good visual trip so I really wanted to grow the mushrooms after the Sclerotia.

100 dry grams from a quart jar sounds like a very high yield imho. do you think a quart jar of substrate would yield that much in dry wieght of fruit bodies?

In a quart jar people say to add about 200g of dry grain. With a BE of 200% for cubensis this will produce 400g wet which should dry to about 32g

400 wet grams of sclerotia is approx 120 grams dry.

400 wet grams of fruitbodies is approx 34 grams dry.

Dry sclerotia is weaker then dry cubensis. The dosage can be 2-10+ grams dry.
