I made no correlations to anything. This is a different, completely separate incident.

I said stop reading between lines that aren't there because that's EXACTLY what you did/are doing.

Yeah, I'll agree that the more people on the streets with a CCW the better. But still, even in the states that allow them, there arent enough people that actually have and exercise that right.

Obviously you can draw that conclusion from the shootings that have taken place over the past few years, Columbine, VA tech, and now the Colorado shootings.

These were all in places where people were either restricted from Legally being able to Concealed carry, or were otherwise un-armed....

Now, that shooter may have had a bullet proof vest, leggings, and a ballistics helmet, but still a single CCW carrying person could have stopped him. The most common, and one of the best commercially avalable bullet proof vests, a Class IIIA (3A) if i recall right, is only rated to withstand one direct shot.

Someone unloading a clip of HydraShock heavy grained hollow points from a 1911 or even a 9MM could have slowed him down, stopped him in his tracks, or outright killed him.

But no one was prepared. damn shame... now we gotta jail, house, feed, and care for this crazy asshole on the tax paying survivors dime, when someone probably shoulda killed him on the scene.
