ok. liek this same correlation hasn't been made in all the other Batman threads. the old grandpa saved the day, we needed him for the Batman movie!1 yeah, ok dudes. yep, there was no stated correlation... this thread is ONLY ABOUT GRANDPA. whoa this is some random fuckin' thread, here! hurray Grandpa, we should all carry guns? why? what is this thread about? GRANDPA!
unam sanctum said:
Theyre pretty damn similar

... does this take into account what i am actually getting at here? maybe it does. look, here right guyths. this guy sees the similarities too!1
Shroomism said:
All I'm saying is grandpas with guns = good.
Armed citizens = less gun crime

that's all YOU'RE saying, and that's cool. i never meant to put words in your mouth, if that is waht you felt my previous post was about. sorry.

iwasaClown said:
Haha nobody's comparing shit here.

PS: there was plenty of comparisons in other threads... this thread seems like the SAME comparison, in light of the Batman shooting.

oh and... ahem... "HOW TO STOP A MASSACRE" was the title of the video. i'm PRETTY sure, what the title is SPECIFICALLY referring to. lol, or was the robbery a "potential" MASSACRE.

yeah, "stop reading in between lines that aren't there"; it's just so arrogant. fuck. just derpfucked.

ANOTHER BATMAN THREAD YADAYADAYADA guns

Huh again? Man you need to calm down or something. Getting your panties all in a twist over nothing.

I only posted once in that Batman thread, read it.

I made no correlations to anything. This is a different, completely separate incident.

I said stop reading between lines that aren't there because that's EXACTLY what you did/are doing.

This thread is about how people with guns can stop crime. Kthx.

Yeah, I'll agree that the more people on the streets with a CCW the better. But still, even in the states that allow them, there arent enough people that actually have and exercise that right.

Obviously you can draw that conclusion from the shootings that have taken place over the past few years, Columbine, VA tech, and now the Colorado shootings.

These were all in places where people were either restricted from Legally being able to Concealed carry, or were otherwise un-armed....

Now, that shooter may have had a bullet proof vest, leggings, and a ballistics helmet, but still a single CCW carrying person could have stopped him. The most common, and one of the best commercially avalable bullet proof vests, a Class IIIA (3A) if i recall right, is only rated to withstand one direct shot.

Someone unloading a clip of HydraShock heavy grained hollow points from a 1911 or even a 9MM could have slowed him down, stopped him in his tracks, or outright killed him.

But no one was prepared. damn shame... now we gotta jail, house, feed, and care for this crazy asshole on the tax paying survivors dime, when someone probably shoulda killed him on the scene.

interesting, at about 44-46 seconds, it looks like there are video poker, or gambling machines against the wall.....

could have been the motive for a robbery, as internet cafe's dont really make much money at all....

my point isn't even about what you ninnies are going on about. plus, this thread has no point. go talk to Zippo about not mentioning the Batman shooter guy. seriously i ain't hearing it.

first off, Shroom-ism. i didn't say YOU made the comparison so maybe you should "calm down" (whatever the fuck that means.)

secondly, if you don't want the thread to be about anything in particular, pertaining to THE VIDEO, maybe you should state the purpose of the thread.

Shroomism said:
I didn't use to think guns were a very good idea, but since I have come to the age of reason, and they are out there anyway,
and crazy fucks have them and try to do crazy things with them, I think the more normal people with guns, the better.

People don't tend to go on massacres when they know that half the people they are going to try and shoot are armed and will shoot back.

Gun control laws are now one of my biggest enemies. Fuck you if you think we need stricter gun control. It's in our Constitution for a fucking reason.

Shroomism said:
Whatever. We can hypothesize and come up with what if scenarios all day.
The reality and facts of that specific situation is that grandpa even with his poor marksmanship skills, stopped the robbery, wounded the robbers, and no one else got hurt.

Shroomism said:

The word Batman was not even uttered OR implied, until YOU walked into the thread.
So maybe YOU should try thinking next time before jumping to conclusions and going on some rant for no fucking reason.

But now that you bring it up, I think if people in the theater were armed, it probably would have ended differently.

Anyway, this fucking thread is about how normal people with guns stop crazy people with guns from completing their diabolical plans.

NOT FUCKING BATMAN. ALTHOUGH I GUESS YOU CAN MAKE THAT CORRELATION IF YOU WANT. THAT WAS NOT MY FUCKING INTENTION.

i just think the correlation between one incident and another is dumb as fuck.

one was a robbery... one was a deluded as fuck mofo with tear gas and assault rifles.

okok okok ok ok  i get it!1 stricter gun laws = BAD more responsible gun carrying citizens = GOOOD

but it's not the same fucking case! stop comparing the two cases people, fuck!

my 2cents.

DO I SAY YOU

the comparison was not only made in THIS THREAD by another member (Zippo) so it's not out of the REALM OF POSSIBILITY that the SAME COMPARISONS (from me or anybody) could come about from the OP.

even here http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/16562320#16562320

another comparison, to how a gun carrying person could have "trumped" the shooter at the theater. SAME VIDEO.

seriously. i never said anything about YOU. in fact, i couldn't give a shit about you or your thread. which according to you OP... is about GUNS PROTECTING PEOPLE FROM MASSACRE. what was the latest massacre that has had people posting the video you posted? oh yeh, THAT ONE. oh and it was implied. that video has been going around because of the point it proves... that people with a gun can scare off would-be attackers... the video is REFERENCING the EVENT with BATWHORE.

self-centered pompousness.
