I've always left my car doors unlocked, if their going to take your shit, they will break the window. Sorry about that dude, the car will be picked up eventually, and insurance will help you out. Hate thieves myself, it's the lowest and base of all crime. Kill a man you steal his right to life, lie to a man you steal his right to the truth. Fuck off...

That sucks balls. Hopefully insurance takes care of it/and/or they find the fuckers.
Keep your wallet on your person at all times, next time. Don't ever leave it in the car.
Keys, just don't lose those.

What a fucking shitty night. We were at an arcade bar, went out to grab a few beers, came back in, and played a few arcade games. I don't know where I lost my girlfriends keys, they must have fallen on the ground, but instead of turning it into lost and found, they went outside and stole the car. Who the fuck knows where it is... We both had to cancel both of our credit cards and just got back into our apartment after the maintenance people came out at 2 in the morning.

God I hope whoever did this gets caught :undecided: slim chance though.

Getting your car stolen sucks, especially when you've left a lot of valuable stuff like your wallet, tools, text books, electronics, etc, in it.  But sometimes you get lucky.

Last year I came home and really had to take a piss, so I left all my crap in my car and rushed inside.  I didn't think about it but I left my ipod classic on the charger in my car and just fell asleep.  All my texts were in the back, my tools, several nice knives, some clothes, my wallet for whatever reason, bag (which contained a spare key  ) with most of my physical school work/notes, and various other things.  Somebody broke the passenger side window to steal the ipod that night, found the bag and eventually the spare key, and stole the car.

The car had a full tank of gas and my wallet had at least a hundred bucks in cash.  I figured the guy would have been long gone by the time I made the police report and didn't expect to see any of my stuff again.  A week later the police find my car on the side of the road about 4 miles from apartment, virtually unharmed, with a guy in the back smoking crack out of a nickel-plated copper pipe he found with my tools .  The car was filled with fast food bags and cream soda bottles.  He apparently just used the cash to eat for the week and treat his homies to some Church's chicken and crack, and was living in the car.  Didn't even think to switch the plates with some random car or at least stay off the streets since he was hangin around town :dumbass:

I lost most of my stuff but the guy didn't try to sell my texts and he didn't fuck up my car (he did bust out the cabin lights when he initially stole it).  I consider that pretty lucky.

Sometimes they do find stolen cars and in good condition.  Good luck with your situation.
