Trich is Rediculous, and Everywhere!
    #1642020 -

My cat has some HIGHLY strict sterilization procedures. 100% turnout on her first 72 jars!

Then Trich took over the casings, nearly overnight.

The trich has been removed from the house, and all rooms cleaned well... YET -- when she innoculated her next set of EXTREMELY sterile jars... they're starting to show more freakin' trich! Already 5 out of 24 jars have been pulled with initial signs of green, and one more that has growth way too soon! All of the others *seem* to be clean and clear. No myc growth yet.

This stuff must get into everything!

Is there anything she can do to save the other 18 jars? She thought about ziplock baggies sealing them a little more from the external environment... She's not planning on doing much until she finds a new sekret lab to work in, I guess the other cats she lives with are really dirty animals who don't respect the Great Work. Thoughts on cleanliness, corruption, and contamination appreciated!

Besides the sterilization process, the culprit could be the syringe or the inoculation process. Either way, next time don't inoculate a couple of jars, they will be test jars. If the test jars don't contaminate, then most probably, the fault isn't the sterilization process but the the inoculation process.

Even if syringes were made in an extremely clean environment with boiled purified water, and flame sterilized inbetween each and every jar? My cat (meows) and hopes she will have at least several jars turn out!
