are you guys trying to drive everybody outta here or what? I was down with more strict moderation for a while but this is getting stupid. and these rules saying "no talk about moderator action" sounds a lot like patriot act type shit where if you question the government they just make you vanish..

what's going on guys? I think this is fucking rediculous; particularly because moderation is made without saying what was done for people who visit in the future - these people who see this thread and see moderated posts have no clue what happened, and usually expect the worst because moderation is supposed to be a moderated action and only used when something very bad is going on.. looks like that's not the case..

Hey Strumpling.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We do not condone deletion of posts or threads unless they provide potentially harmful information, illegal information/advice, or are a direct threat to another user. Per our policy, provided you did not threaten anyone, the actions taken in the thread of question were uncalled for.

In the rare event posts do get deleted in a normal forum (eg. not a fully moderated forum), explanations should be provided out of courtesy and to help increase awareness of the rules so that people do not unknowingly break them in the future... essentially everything that you have said. We do not want to drive people away from our community, and we certainly do not want to rule with such an iron fist that people feel they are not alotted the right to speak freely.

This action is currently under review by the administration of The Shroomery.

i agree completely, i could have shown many threads like this, but since everyone here was getting mad at me for voicing my opinion on "unban bivalve" and my own banning, i decided to lay low before i spoke my thoughts....

but since strumpling started it... :smile:

the moderation has gone overboard... i'm sure mr.mushrooms believes he is moderating correctly and doing the best thing for the shroomery, but there is TOO MUCH STRUCTURE.... please, we are all adults, we can get angry sometimes, and heated debates may arise  and i also believe we can solve these problems through the debates

when a moderator interjects and closes threads, deletes posts, or any way disrupts the natural course of dialogue between users, he is promoting bad blood, and unresolved issues.

Mr_mushrooms is a good guy and full of good intentions, but he's stressed and needs and little vacation...

Thanks for bringing it up strumpling. I saw this thread and saw all the deleted posts and mr. mushrooms saying:
"Calling someone a liar is too personal for this forum. "

When really he said:
"I don't believe you are telling the truth."

i wanted to point out how saying you "believe" something is an opinion....
but the thread was locked leaving me with a poor impression of mr. mushrooms to say the least.

I've also had a warning about a "retard comment" i have no memory of making, and details were deleted. I understand why you guys want to keep flaming to a minimum, but this and a few other examples are going to far.

Still mods can make mistakes,and theres bound to be some that occur.

Why is it (still) in S&P? If any moderation needed to be done it would have been moving it somewhere else.

Why not support group central, there was also another post in ODD about vomitting problems with some other drug or was it mushrooms.

What are they gonna do in S&P for him, reason out why it happened? HEH  :grin:

We are still in the process of collecting data and collaboration.  Rest assured, you will be contacted in due time.  You can understand that we are all volunteers here and it takes longer to get things done that otherwise could be handled quite efficiently by a paid and highly structured staff :wink:

I'm Exstatic he is behaving this way, I spotted it a LONG time ago and finally others are experiencing what I was talking about. Mr. Mushrooms needs his own forum here al about him where he can make any rules he wants. A few of his assuckers will post there and all will be well for the rest of us.
