stupid bad heart

god damn.. ever since i did a ton of meth one time(months ago).. I can see my heart beating through my tshirt--- it gives me bad anxiety everyday.. what could I possibly do to fix this? Is it the meth for sure that did this you think? anything will help, thanks

I just noticed the other day that I can see my heart beating through my shirt, and I've never done meth. I don't feel unhealthy. I'm not worrying about it.

Get checked for Atrial Fibrillation ASAP!
I am a post, botched angiogram caused triple bypass with A/F.I have studied heart health and you sound like this could be a problem you could have.Meth can induce arrhythmias like A/F.Get checked!

Last christmas santa gave me a heart infarction.

Heart muscle dying, scartissue, ICU, 9 pharms, no more pot -never- with a fat chance my shrooming days are over. If I hadn't quit cigarettes 2 weeks before the combination of ongoing heart infarction + first nicotine of the day might have killed me. Now that's NICOTINE, not METHEDRINE.

Choose life. Dunno if you mean a metric ton of meth but what you describe does NOT sound good and an overworked heart may decide enough's enough.
SEE YOUR DOCTOR RIGHT AWAY. Amphetamines are notorious for causing heart problems and their buddy cocaine i've even been specifically warned against by my cardiologist.

I'd say quit meth before it does you in because it seems likely an amphetamine OD could have caused this and these do not happen by themselves.

Choose life and do the right thing. Life looks different when there's a nitroglycerin sublingual spray on your printer.

I have had several heart tests (ECG's, ultrasound) done throughout my life as I was born with a heart murmur (a benign one, they said).

I also have slight sinus brachycardia and an arrythmia - both of which my doctor has ASSURED me are nothing to worry about at all. In fact every doctor I see tells me I am in EXCELLENT cardiac health  :smirk:

I can't see my heart beat through my chest but if i lie real still and balance something on my belly it will jiggle to the rythem of my heart....pretty cool huh?

While I have sympathy for all the people out there who have actual heart problems, this sounds more like something someone noticed for the first time and started freaking out about.  :smile:  That's happened to me a few times, though with different things.

My advice?  Go see your doc for an annual check-up and say, "Hey, is this normal?  There was one time my heart was racing, and I noticed I coudl see my heart beating through my chest...and it's still doing that..."

Most likely he'll just listen to you a bit and say "Yep, you're fine."  Of course, there might be an actual problem, but unless you've had symptoms indicative of a heart problem, you're prolly OK.  If he says "You're fine," that kills the anxiety.  If there's an acutal problem, well, it's being taken care of.

Oh...and don't do meth.  That shit's bad for you.  :wink:

I have all kinda of heart problems
aortic valve inssufency
heart mumer
pin size hole in my heart

I've done lots of drugs
and tripped alot
never done much meth or coke

go to your doc and get and electrocardiogram
and an echocardiogram
these tests will determine if you have done any damage

I used to do a lot of ecstasy
untillone night I took too much and for DAYS
after I felt as if I was having mild heart attacks
i weent to my doc told him what had ahppened
and I got my tests done early (I get them once every couple years)
I was in perfect health I had done no damage.
