This hasnt been going on too long, but for about the past month or so, my heart beat is always pounding 24/7 ... If I look at my chest, I can always see where my left nipple is going up and down, it freaks me out- then i start worrying about it and I think its time I post something. Im a daily weed smoker for about 9 months, do you think this could be the reason? 1 thing I think it could be is all the meth I used to do but I have been off it for a while and its still happening 24/7 ...so the main reason im posting is to try and figure out. 1. What could this be caused by? 2. How do I get it to go away?
1. What could this be caused by? It is a widely known fact that weed makes your heart race. Sometimes I've looked in the mirror while high, and like you, my heart is pounding so hard that my left nipple is moving up and down. My heart is also quite close to my chest. I was once diagnosed as having a heart murmur, but the explanation was that my heart is very close to my breast bone. So I advise to go see a doctor, get your heart checked out.
Another possible explaination is a lingering anxiety.
In both cases, go see the doctor.
2. How do I get it to go away? Try some relaxation techniques. Harder than it sounds I know, so as I've said, you're best bet is to see the doctor.
No stranger than that!
This used to happen to me all the time. I would flip out every time I smoked or dosed. Soon I started getting pains and numbness, but it was just anxiety. You'll get over it. I would stop smoking weed for a bit and just chill out. Perhaps see your doctor for some advice.
