How to Smoke DMT... R2D2 Style!
    #8540219 -

Let's just say I was desperate, had no available lightbulbs, no crack-pipes or a proper bong so I made my own contraption out of household goods!

What you'll need:
Plastic cup, pen, scissors, sharp thin knife, tin foil, elastic band.

1. Puncture a hole in the bottom of a plastic party cup by twisting the sharp knife so that there is a hole slightly narrower than the diameter of your pen;

2. Get the shell of a pen and stick it through the hole (this will serve as the drawing pipe).

3. Get tin foil and cover the mouth of the cup tightly (I put an elastic band over it to keep it there). Try to make a part of the foil bulge out so that the crystals gather in one spot making it easier to vaporize.

4. Cut a small hole on the side of the cup so you can draw air through it into the cup and up the straw.

5. Sprinkle DMT down the pipe (pen).

6. Hold lighter at a distance below the foil until DMT melts and starts to smoke.

Load Universe into cannon, aim at brain, FIRE!

Hope this technique helps anyone without access to proper smoking apparatus!

Here's a picture of my R2D2:

Ah I thought someone out there would have come up with this sort of idea. It's too simple to overlook when you're desperate!

its easy to make a joint of dmt but if you have no papers then maybe this is a solution.'
But is a good invention.

I don't understand the 'dmt joint' principal. Doesn't direct heat destroy DMT?

A friend of mine who had all his previous dmt experiences by sprinkling it on weed and smoking it via bong tried the R2D2 last week and he was dead set shocked by the strength of the pure vapor.

I don't know as i have read yes it destroy it. To me it works better by joint. And i have tried to vaporize DMT but i didn't took the same effects but much milder.
I don't know.

make sure to make a little indention in the middle of the foil so your dmt doesnt turn to liquid and run away from you.

i created a similar device out of a 1 liter bottle and it was the best way i found to smoke dmt.

I use also a similar device, but instead of the the aluminium foil i use a small tin can and instead of the plastic glass i have cut the top of a plastic bottle. In my opinion it is the best to smoke dmt because :
- The DMT is not burnt like in joint or bong
- The DMT does not stick to the sides like in any glassware device (a lightbulb or "the machine" for instance)
- it is extremely cheap and easy to build.

It's only the best if you like inhaling the toxic vapors that release from aluminaum at higher temperatures.... stick to glass ye silly!  (As far as I can tell this is an issue in the original design as well... heated metals aren't to be trusted for smoking off of)

I agree that glass is ideal in term of toxicity, but the tin can i use is not made of aluminium (i have checked) and at the temperature the DMT is vaporized (around 80 °C i think), the risk that something nasty is released is quite low IMO.

On that note, there's now a tek on the DMT Nexus for preparing DMT fumarate, one of the only DMT salts known to occur as a solid, and more importantly the one approved for human intravenous administration by the federal government :naughty:

After decades i will correct the way to smoke DMT with a joint.

Make the joint, add some DMT at the end and then put a dried leaf.

The trick is not let fire direct to touch the DMT.
