i was wondering about the taste/pleasantness of using a vaporizer with bud...never tried one, but they sound pretty cool and healthier too.

It's not the same as lighting up a nice big ole stinky smokey J for sure, it tastes kind of woody or .... weird. Much different. I dont smoke weed enough to worry about the health risks, probably living downtown is worse for me than the amount of pot I smoke, but I guess if you are Johnny Chronic it's probably a good idea.

Don't listen to them! hehe I really dig vaporizers as long as they're not one of those gay ones with a big glass dome..

The high is much lighter, like you don't feel all "uuurrggghhhh" and lazy IMO. From what I understand this is because there are certain chemicals in the pot (that aren't thc) that do other things to you, so when you're smoke it you're getting these chemicals, however when you're vaporizing you're roasting at JUST hot enough for the THC and a few other chemicals, none of which are ones that make you all drowsey and... disabled

just my opinion

My crew sometimes vaporizes w/ hot knives. Works pretty well, once you get it down. We lost a lot of smoke the first few times, though.

if the pot is actually smoking, you're not vaporizing. Vaporizing, by definition, creates vapor as opposed to smoking, which gives off smoke.

I love my vaporizer. Makes a little go a long way, and after a few months you can scrape a big fat wad of resin out of the glass bit.

Strumpling is absolutely correct.  My buddy got a vaporizor last year, and I enjoyed it so much - I picked up my own this past septemeber.  I've found my vape to give me 2x efficiency when compared to combustion of herb (smokin' it ).

It tastes very good imho, but there's always a time for the rich unhealthy smoke that bongs, joints, and pipes let you rip

The model I personally recommend: The AromaZap

It's between $80-$90 depending on if you want the extra options like the grinder/aroma therapy oil.  The dude who makes 'em is a real nice guy and has helped me with any questions and offers a very nice guarantee on his product.  It's healthier, covert, and it'll stretch your herb supply.
