Other than that I don't think that there are any. It's very fast-acting and intense which we could interpret as meaning a few things:

It comes on fast and powerful because it fits so perfectly into our brain

it leaves quickly because our body is well-equipped to deal with the molecule and metabolize it quickly, so it doesn't wear out our brains or anything.

Also, it's endogenous which means that it's in our brain.. our brain produces it itself, which I think is the best indicator of its safetyl.. if it's already there, then what bad could possibly come of it?

And one more point is that DMT has a long history of use in the form of ayahuasca, and the shamans who use it consider it to be a healing potion, not a detrimential one.

I think it's probably the safest hallucinogen in terms of long term effects. Safer than shrooms cause it doesn't mess with your digestion.

The question was are there any long term effects and he didnt say this, Tim Leary did, he said, "not unless you fear death by astonishment" if you dont believe me you can hear him say it by following the link in my sig. Tree of knowledge I this is the right series.

Yes but he gives Tim Leary credit for saying it in one of those audio things, trust me I've listened to each one on that page multiple times.

DMT is exactly what the psychedelic experience is supposed to be, not weed or LSD, no nonsense it's the psychedelic experience personified. It's real and what your mind makes it at times. It seems similar to death, rebirth, spiritual or mystics experience, NDE, OOBE, dreaming, lucid dreaming and more but it's its own thing. It makes you tremble. There's nothing else like it. It's just the true meaning of psychedelic.
