Firefox Issues

Hey folks...

I just formatted and reinstalled my friends computer... went with windows xp... the problem is, the fresh install of firefox is giving us problems... it crashes on certain sites... it especially crashes as soon as i open the "manage add-ons" page in firefox... is this even possible in a fresh install of OS and browser? any tips?

help would be greatly appreciated

Download a fresh copy.

Uninstall Firefox, save nothing when it asks.

Reboot. Do not skip this step.

Install Firefox.

Sounds like you have an add-on installed that causes FF to crash. Remove all add-ons or do as luvdemshrooms says.

hmmm... weird... my buddy said he reinstalled firefox like three times... guess he didn't delete the user files as well... thanks for the tip, shrooms, it worked!

hmmm... i tried chrome, but there was something i didnt like about it. cant remember what though.
