Shroomery forum Firefox extension

Don't know if this is the correct forum for this, so feel free to move it.
Here is a Firefox extension that allows you to browse the Shroomery forum through Firefox.
Save the Shroomery_Forum_Firefox_Plugin.xpi.jpg file and remove the .jpg. Then either double click the file or drag it into Firefox. The standard Firefox extension installation should begin. After you restart Firefox, you should have a Shroomery menu on the toolbar. It does have the marketplace in it, but you still have to be logged in and have the correct permissions to view it.




Right click this link and choose Save Image or Save Link then remove .jpg from filename

You can easily go to any forum on the board instead of having to load up the index page to choose another forum and you can do it no matter what web page you are browsing at the time (ie google, slashdot, pr0n, etc)

just installed it... pretty freekin sweet... but  missing my Journal link


i like the fact tht you can still middle click to open in new tab... so i can open my pics to upload durring quick reply without having to scroll all the way up :yesnod:

Yea I couldn't figure out an easy way to do this because the link to your journal is different than the link to my journal because each has a different (I'm guessing) userid of some sort.

I used this extension when I was still running Win98SE. Now that I've upgraded to XP and reinstalled Firefox, the extension won't install because it says it isn't a valid install package. Can someone take a look at it and fix the .xpi file?

did you remove the .jpg from the file name, after you saved it?
It runs fine on my XP machines. Go look at the first post.

i was gonna say thanks for the bump because i swtiched to firfox two days ago and i'd like to use this feature...
too bad it doesnt work though!

if anyone finds a fix or updates it or something let me know!
