Sea of Shrooms Casing Tek

Has anyone here ever tried the "Sea of Shrooms" Casing Tek? It looks like a good, easy casing tek for a beginner like myself. I think I'm going to try it but I was wondering what kind of conditions the casings should be kept in--similar to cakes or what?

my experiment with sea of shrooms is that the casings just yeild a good amount for just half of a 1/2 pint cake...downside was lots of aborts
