Question about PF Casing Tek

I was just doing some reading on casing teks and I have a question about what to do after you cover cakes with casing mix and cover pan with saran wrap. Do you leave it in the dark?
And How long? Any help would be appreciated.

just follow the steps for the temp depending on what strain.. leaving it in the dark is fine till the mycelium totally grows through the casing.

So leave it in the dark until the mycelium grow thru the casing then put the pan out in indirect light to start the fruiting stage.
Is this correct?

no its not. nobbik please stop; youre creating a lot of confusion.

leave it cased and in full darkness at 85 degrees (leave it in your incubator if you can fit it in there but cover with tinfoil or something. saran wrap will work well though if its in a dark closet. or you can use both. after you see small spots of mycellium popping up THEN you can uncover it (still put it in a terrarium though) and lower the temperature to 75. but dont wait until its all covered; thn you will have overlay and you dont want that. just wait for 3-4 spots that you can see thru the casing growing upward and then proceed.
