saran wrap casing tek

In a post concerning coco coir casings ('Re: Coco Coir casing tek?' from 01/08/02) Mycotek_Support mentioned while talking about synthetic casing layers, a saran wrap casing tek. The link to this page on the post was dead. If anyone is familiar with the tek or knows a correct link for it please inform. I would like to start experimenting with casing but i can't find vermiculite or coir anywhere and saran wrap is something promptly available in my kitchen =). That's why i got curious.

I donno bro, I would have to say you should go online and buy the coco or the verm...

Ive heard something about this before, but honestly I dont think it would be the best way of doing it.

You can basically cut up saran wrap into little peices and soak in water. Then squeeze out the excess and then apply like a normal casing. I dont know how it owuld work however..... ;/
