I feel like an antenna
    #1509069 -

I am too aware of the feelings of people around me. Their emotions and thoughts become my own. This is often verified by things said to me after being preoccupied with a certain train of emotion inspired thought. And occasionally I feel like I can manipulate people. (On a side note, I read recently that subtle mimicry will win over a person in minutes.) The most grounded explanation I can give is that I am subconsciously interpreting people's body language. Call me what you will, and sure, there is the possibility that this is in my head, but do any of you feel this way?

I know what you mean and sometimes happens to me, but I can't really explain it.

You sound like a thorough observer.

There's something to be said about paying attention to detail.

After a while, it becomes second nature.

It's almost like "hearing" another language...  lol ...

sometimes, even if no one acts like a certian way, everyone around me can become depressed, or happy, no signs showing, it just all seems to happen around the same time
and it happens to a few of us...it's strange...
it's like we share our enery...good and bad.

my one friend, i just know if something is wrong, even if she's having a blast, laughing her ass off, sometimes i just know...

Although this is not an average group of people in these forums by any means it is great to see so many tuning in to their spiritual sides. Can't you just sense the activity...one step closer to critical mass.
keep learning with an open mind and you will be amazed at what you can accomplish.

I used to feel like that alot, but it became to much of a distraction

I like being observant and all but I don't want other people's worlds seeping into mine, so I've sorta been constructing safety nets or something. i still consider myself very sensitive to vibes though, and to me, that is a good thing.

I wouldnt bother trying to develop psychic skills out of it or anything though :P
just focus and see if your heading where you want to be

Yeah, sometimes when it is really bothering me I plant both feet firmly on the ground.

I'd like to believe that we are on the verge of some sort of mass spiritual awakening, but everyone seems very split-apart; maybe it is a painful step towards unifcation; becoming aware of your dishonesties and flaws.

It is true that these "powers" or whatever you want to call them can be very distracting and make it hard to communicate or just be around other people. I really feel it in mass groups of people because of the vast array/amount of energy present. One thing that these abilities show is that you might be on the verge of something great and that you are here on earth for a very special reason. I am no master of controlling them myself yet but I find it much easier when I meditate daily, release fear/denial, eat healthily and stop using drugs. Marijuana, cigarettes, caffene and other "harmless" drugs that I once used daily were not only an addiction, they were hindering me on my true performance. I would not be at all surprised if most of you feel the same way as well. Although I still wish i didn't have to give up my lovely buds ;}
Peace

When one, starts to play with psi, marijuana does one of two things. Makes it ALOT tripper (sensations of flying, patterens, faces, auditorys), or lessens the effects to were marijuana losses its magic.

Last night I was at my friend's, and another friend of ours stopped by. He's always giving off negative vibes, but my friend wasn't in a normal state (not drug-induced, possibly the lack thereof, but who knows). I didn't even know anything was going on, but when the guy left, my friend followed him out to his car and threw him on the ground.
He said it was just an automatic thing. Sort of a spider sense, that he was trying to "go over his head". Okay, like if this one dumb kid everyone hates comes by and everyone says things that appear innocent to him, but they are really slamming him..... but my friend picked up on it.
The thing is, it wasn't anything that my friend picked up from his body language or what he said, but his thoughts.
I pick up on a lot of the same things he does, but I don't react like he did. I really don't understand what happened; he isn't the type of guy to throw someone down like that for such a reason.
We think it might be too much drugs, possibly, but its more of an energy thing. Like, we're seeing a lot of unnoticed things because we've kept a more open view on things, and most of our friends are firmly rooted in their security and power complexes, their ego basically, and it really sticks out. I think that I perceive it like this consciously, (I've been reading a book called 'The Handbook to Higher Consciousness'), but he sees it differently "people have been acting really weird lately".
Sorry, my story just seemed to go along with what you're talking about.
Thanks for your time.
Peace.

Marijuana does have its uses and I still think it is a great drug and living organism but if you learn to accomplish these things without the use of marijuana you will be a better person for it. Marijuana creates alot of what I would call noise due to change in brain function. There are already so many variances in the brain adding another slows the process from a certain point on. I still say with much enthusiasm legalize it but of course thats obvious since thats a personal freedom denied us etc etc. Well probably the wrong topic for this post but everything is connected is it not?
Peace
