lab complete!

So this weekend commemorated the completion of my lab. It's beautiful.

Some of the equipment --

2x2 ULPA (99.999 @ .1 micron) rated Laminar flow hood, variable speed control between 10-120 fps.
Bacticinerator (if anyone ever has the chance to pick one up at a decent price, DO IT, this thing rocks).
All-American 25x Stereoclave
All-American 915 Pressure Cooker
Propane powered burner, for pressure cooker.
Glassware ad nauseum - 24 glass petri's, case of plastic, 1,000ml erlenmyer x2 (pyrex), 500ml erlenmyer x3 (pyrex), 250ml erlenmyer x1 (poly), 1,000ml volumetric flask (pyrex)
Eberbach container for standard blender bases (1,000ml)
some other goodies, like 100 lbs of wood pellet fuel - 100 lbs of peat - 50 lbs of white millet - 5 cases of quart jars - 2 cases of gallon jars - 1 case of half gallon jars

bout to place an order for 1,000 filter bags

man, am i excited to get to work =)

All of this is in a garage which has had an 14'x14' frame built within it, and I stapled plastic sheeting and sealed the gaps with duct tape. I use a couple of cheap hepa's 99.97% @ .3 (that i bought at home depot for 60$ each) to keep the air as clean as possible. As well as a fan which i have covered the backing of with landscaping fabric, to vent outwards, this pushes a bit too much air at high, but seems ok at medium (that's left to troubleshoot).

Any suggestions? Pictures will come within a week or so (I haven't bought a digi cam yet).

to start, spawn/cultures/fruiting kits

then, i'm currently building a similar structure with the rest of the space in the garage. Which i'm going to attempt some small scale fruitings, for home, and assuming it goes well - then i'll try and market to some local restaurants, hopefully make some ok money from that. For the meanwhile, i'm working on my site which I will sell spawn, cultures, and kits. I'm trying to correspond with others doing similar, so i don't undercut or overprice. We'll see how it goes, and if nothing else - i have a lot of neat toys =) lol

mine actually hasn't arrived yet, but my ups tracking says it's coming tomorrow so I jumped the gun in my post  :confused:

but i'm excited about it, I sold my AA 925 to get it, and i've had this 915 - but that's a little small for too much. Good for a gallon or a couple halfs here and there.

shoot me PMs if theres any specific pieces of equipment you're looking for. I have some good connections, from my searches. I paid only 125$ for my bacti, 300 for the AA25x, and i'm not even telling what i paid for the hood, everyone will hate me ;p

Though i aquire most stuff other ways lol.
I think im about to pick up an industrail steamer second hand, with inside
dimensions of 1m deep, 1m wide and 1m high.For free, so i'll
slowly slowy build up :-) ive yet to find a desent large
pressure cooker, but i will ;-)
