Dont be so butthurt - just provide lots of links like you said you had.  I like the first one - thats a start.  Also, the guy who hosted that page is the head of www.notmilk.com -- which seems to be another decens source (i checked it out briefly)

some of these claims seem pretty dubious. checked out a couple of the studies cited on the link in the first page - some of the info is being used a little out of context. that study of 78,000 women looks to have a pretty weak study design and is based on women aged mid 30's+ which is past the age of peak bone mass accumulation in both males and females. it also doesn't appear to take into account physical activity levels which impact on bone composition. osteoporosis is considered a disease of the young because bone mass declines from a peak in the mid 20's and if you don't accumulate enough mass when young you increase your risk of fractures later in life. i've got a fuckload of assignments to finish off over the next week but ill look into this more when ive got some free time.

Lactose is I sugar, casein is not unhealthy and it digests slowly, great for weight loss. Yeah we aren't designed for cow milk, but dogs nurse off cats sometimes, and they develop great. Milk is great with it's IgA (I believe) vitamins, antibiotics, hormones (not the injected shit that is not good for you), protein, and if I get my A&P notes back I can list more. High protein will increase cancer chances, so does smoking, ANYTHING, so does a lack of fiber, fuck so does tv and the sun. Lactose I believe becomes galactose when two are tied together. It's a 6-carbon and can be made into glycogen and stored.

Now the real issue that's stuff that's bad for you, rBGH, chicken (due to growth hormones and the saline injected into them then people put salt on it), soybean (almost all GMO), tobacco, diapers, detergents, stressing over things that are bad for you, etc. Smile folks!

Also the fire industry uses animal protein (egg) for foam when fighting fires at the airports. It's called "wet" water. Lots of industry uses different natural occurring materials for things that would surprise you, think sheep skin birth control and plant based hormone therapy.

I have every single one of my folders accounted for now EXCEPT the one on health and diet, though I do have a very good resource hidden in the 100 emails in my email address so off to searching :P!!!

A few good resources up on first post now... Will still try to find my folder.

Lol meams, rage all you like. I said I was looking for my notes, I have studies and references and blah blah blah... Also I have studies showing how the nutrients in milk are mostly unabsorbable and how they clog you up in ways that make your body less efficient at absorbing other nutrients....

Unfortunately I have been buisy/exhausted today, I thought I would have more time to put into this but I didn't, ANYWAYS...

Here is one ok link with some information I will however find my notes.

http://www.rense.com/general26/truth.htm

Edit: Also meams my major point was that people should NOT be making good ways to commit suicide readily available and they should NOT be sharing information they do not know for a fact to be true. I have read the studies and done the research. So even if I just posted my original quote I would not fall in the category you seem to so willingly wish to throw me into. Also this information (if taken seriously) can not hurt anyone, it can only help people.... As opposed to incorrect diet or workout recommendations.

Why shouldn't information on how to commit suicide be readily available?

It isn't my place to say what is right or wrong really but that is my opinion because sometimes people just feel really down and they want a way out of that moment... I have been there, and thanks to me not knowing an easy way I am still alive and now I am loving life! If someone wanted to die bad enough they would find a way no matter how hard it was to find, making it easy just means that more people that might have been able to get a handle on their issues.... Life is about perseverance, but when someone thinks they have found the "easy way out" often it seems like quite an attractive prospect...

Again these are opinion based statements, but I feel that they are true and correct....

I haven't seen owls act like an "elitist" maybe at times he is a little too proud of the knowledge he has amassed, but he is not elitist from what I have seen... I get just as frustrated as anyone when someone throws the comment " I drink milk everyday and I never have problems" or "I always smoke cigarettes and I am just fine" in my face but that doesn't make me an elitist....

As well getting frustrated with someone accepting everything said to be a fact as a fact without doing any research doesn't make you an elitist....

Owls, sorry if I am off base or you take offence to this...

at first I thought "what a load of bollocks" but I take it this is from america, the land where SWAT teams raid amish farmers for daring to supply a demand for raw milk.

There is merit to this only because of the shit that passes for milk in the states. Search engine "acceptable somatic cell count".

Lol, I'm eating a bowl of shreddies with cowtit juice atm. It's lovely.

I had a cold glass of milk today and honestly, it was the most enjoyable beverage I've had in a while.

You could tell me milk will shorten my life by 20 years, and I would definitely keep drinking it.

Fat-free milk is delicious!:toast:

milk is already a low fat product, why would you want to remove what little there is?

Not exactly, it isn't. An 8oz glass of 2% milk (which is moderate fat-content for milk) is the equivalent of eating 9 strips of bacon. For an 8oz glass, that's a lot of fat.

typical full fat milk contains 4g of fat per 100ml. how is a product that is only 4% fat not considered low fat? a glass of full cream milk has maybe 10g of fat which for a person with an estimated energy requirement of 9000kJ is about 1/7th of their daily fat requirement. if your eating a balanced diet full fat dairy is a non issue
