Whether you have heard of real trance music before or not. You can listen to some songs here and make up your mind.

I love EDM. Love almost every genre in in.. Hardstyle, dubstep, house, DnB,psytrance and hardcore to name a few. I would say overall Trance is one of my favorite. It is one of the most relaxing and beautiful types of music out there. Ofcourse it is all in the eyes of the beholder.

The one thing i have realized that trance holds over a lot of other types of music is that it can just completely block out reality. You can get lost the sounds of trance, hence the trance. It can be incredibly happy and it can also be very very sad. It depends on what mood you are in and how you are viewing the song. If you do listen to it or will listen to it, you will see what im saying. It can fit several different moods.

Please feel free to comment and post. I would love to hear what others know of.

I heard this one live at Ultra 2011.

Nice stuff, I love EDM (and most others forms of music!) and especially trance. I'll have to check out your youtube channel.

Gaia - Tuvan ^ My quintessential tripping song!

Holden and Thompson - Nothing 93' returning - ^ Love the dark and progressive sound of this, the beat is so chilling.

Andy Moor - Whiteroom ^ Another one I love.

Nice tracks!

If you liked White-room you may enjoy this one: it's another progressive trance tune. Good tune to lie down, close your eyes and go traveling through the universe
The Blizzard - Metanoia

Atlantis - Fiji (Lange mix)

Here's a classic uplifting/euphoria track. I love the uplifting stuff when I'm tripping (esp on mescaline). 1:30 onwards euphoric build up on mescaline = heaven!
