Peroxided Agar/Mycelium and Contams.
    #1443319 -

I have a full pint WBS Jar that was about 90% colonized when I spotted a thick patch of some kind of green spotted bacterial contamination growing at the bottom of my jar as there was too much condensation built up at the bottom.

Well instead of throwing it away I wanted to see how the Peroxided mycelium took on this mold, and to my suprise a couple days later, the spot of mold has been almost completely taken over by the mycelium, and the jar is pinning like mad.

I still have yet to conclude if it was the added peroxide in the mycelium which helped kill the bacteria, or just chance.
Though I'm going to fruit the jar as a big WBS Cake, and see how long it flushes for if/before being taken over by mold, and let you know the results.

Any comments or feedback appreciated.

The thing is....
It was a very nasty looking patch of green mold about 1/2"x1/2".
I birthed it this morning, and cut off what was left of the mold, approximately an 1/8th of the above stated amount.
The mycelium overtook and colonized even the piece which I had removed within an 8 hour time period.

careful with consuming anything from that cake... the mold's toxins may still be flowing through your pet!

"A human being is part of a whole, called by us the Universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest--a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty."
