This is nothing sensational, but I use the very box I buy my Ball jars from WalMart as their chamber. I simply set them on top of my 19" monitor and it gets to about 85 Degrees inside there easily.

I too just but the Jars back in the box and set atop one of my computers for warmth. Fairly simple setup./Gadget [This message has been edited by Gadget (edited April 26, 2000).]

I have a 100 watt fishtank heater that I put thru the side of a small tuperware container, sealed with silicon, and filled with water. I put the lid on it and put it in a cooler. The heater has a thermastat on it so it stays at the exact temp I want it,(83-84)and the cooler keeps it moist and dark. Works a hell of a lot better than the water heater closet I used last time.

I had an old broken amp... It was the same size as my jar box, so I just left the jars in the box and turned the amp on. Nice and toasty!

My friend wrote his setup (he doesn't have a login):I have a box with seran wrap in the bottom, and a layer of wet perlite on top of that. Then in go my jars and the thermometer, and I put seran wrap over the top, to retain the moisture. Finally, I cover the top with an old blanket, to keep it dark. This whole setup goes on top of a space heater in my room.
