If they get charged and convicted of misleading and deceptive advertising they will have to pay so much dude, in Australia it's like $50 mill ++.

In America, we have truth in menu laws, but they've only been adopted in certain states.

It sounds a lot worse than it is. It relates more to cost on the bill reflecting menu cost, but it can be interpreted in different ways.

I'm all for Taco Bell getting their shit pushed in from lying about what they sell.

I'm also sick of people trying to put the responsibility for their health on fast food corporations.

As someone who thinks that drugs should be legally available (if controlled), I find fast food a good comparison.

Fast food establishments should be required to provide accurate information as to what their products contain. They shouldn't be able to label 15% meat sludge as, "beef".

On the same note, I don't think Burger King should be put through the ringer for some wheezing slob who staunchly declares that they believed the establishment delivered healthy food, nor should McDonald's be made to blame for the moron who stands in disbelief that the hot coffee could possibly burn their loins.

These industries have their issues, and I think they'd be best regulated with proper honest nutritional information available to consumers. Advertisement should be allowed, so long as it's not bullshit. 

We also should be wary of bullshitting consumers.

Yeah man, I'm allergic, to gluten. It went undiagnosed most of my life until now. I know that oats aren't a direct source of it, but they are usually contaminated enough to trigger the allergy. When I looked up their regular taco on the website, it didn't mark them as "may be contaminated", but as straight up gluten containing food!

Oh well. This is my first allergy. I'm learning how to deal with this. Trust no one!

Sometimes I wonder if I have some sort of food allergy like you do Tech... But then I say FUCK IT and eat some Macdonald's or Mexican food and worry about it later LOL. KNOWWHATIMSAYN?

yeah dude and it was sick as fuck, mom was gettin fucked up with us, there was 4 shroomerites plus like 6 other chill ass heads kickin it and this pretty nice  house.

We can't really bitch at fast food and resturaunts saying they serve us unhealthy food. We can get unhealthy food anywhere, even if you make it at home. Viral outbreaks such as ecoli and mad cow disease didn't have It's outbreaks at resturants or fast food chains. People need to get some entertianment in their lives instead of bitching about whats in fast food, It's fast food for a reason and we all eat it up. People lie everyday about everything including fast food. I think the entire thing is pretty stupid. Even beef we buy at the grocery store isn't 100% percent beef. Everything has unhealthy additives everything from fruits, veggies and meat.
