That is pretty cheap but going down one size at a time is unnecessary.

Hell no dude, thats a good way to fuck up your lobes. Just stick to the regular downsizing, maybe towards the end skip a size, thats what I did.

Go to Ebay and look for a store called Giant Gauges.
They from Asia.

They have everything! And they shipp for free and super fast!!
dont ask me how,but stuff i get from them get here in Portugal in 4days!!Faster than from the UK or the States.

Take a look, for the prices and all is well worth it.Take a good look at all the kind of jewelry they have and decide.
I personally hate to wear giant tappers/expanders in my ears whyle waiting to strech a bit more.Unpractical, weyrd looking and not confortable.

Im still on 18mm.

Don't skip sizes.

DONT SKIP SIZES.

My friends have fucking disgusting earlobes from going too fast. Really just nasty. I know people with 1 inch lobes that are blown out beyond repair, they're like bulbous and red, and wrinkled and fat. You can't really look past them.

I skipped sizes once from 1/2 to 5/8ths, and it turned my lobes into open wounds. I had to size back to 2 and stretch back up. That was with silicone though, really stupid move on my part.

I thought stretching with acrylic
and using acrylic on fresh stretched ears was a no no?

Yeah, acrylic on freshly stretched ears isn't the best way.  Surgical Stainless is the best bet for stretching.  Gold if your ears are sensitive

I'm speaking from personal experience and from doing multiple peoples ear's and at the sizes you're at right now these people are overexaggerating. Never had a problem or complaint but do what you will. :smirk:

You can always get some teflon tape and use that once your ears are at a larger size. Always seemed to be less traumatic on my ears than ramming a taper through.

Totaly right.Nothing better than stainless steal when streching.Heals better and makes a lil bit of weight wich is always good if you're thinking of strech more.

Achrilic or silicone is good just to wear as normal jewelry, not to strech.

That technique of teflon tape said above is really good too.
