christ. give yourself fucking cancer if you want too, but leave the animals alone.

It's almost impossible to get cancer from weed smoke.

I have never heard of any cases of cancer from weed alone...it is usually the medicine for cancer patients....

I would never blow smoke in a dog's ear. This is just very un-natural. Smoke is not meant to be "Inhaled through an ear" << Read that statement over and over and maybe you'll make some sense of it. heh.. That is pretty fucked to be blowing smoke through any creatures ear.. Noses and mouthes are meant to breathe and intake things into the lungs. Ears are meant to catch and decipher sounds not air and smoke.   How would you like it if somebody took a straw stuck it in your ear and blew a hit of smoke in it? Dogs ears are bigger than ours and very sensitive so I can imagine this is how it must feel.

Technicaly it is not natural to inhale/blow smoke anywhere...

my theory:

they think its something edible, and they're begging.

my 8 week old puppy (who had never seen weed before) watched me smoke while sitting in front of me looking at my pipe. when I'd put it down she'd try and get to it. since then shes been trying to steal my weed.

to truly reach an answer proof is needed.

i had no idea that would piss some of you off so bad, calm down....

i just don't see how the thc could be absorbed through the ears. it's not even a mucous membrane. it just doesn't make sense.
as for the visine, i don't know why it's bad, i just know i've been told it is.

"Oxygen is absorbed from the air in the middle ear into the blood vessels running through its lining, in much the same way that oxygen is absorbed in the lungs."
http://www.familydoctor.co.uk/htdocs/deafness/deafness_specimen.html

sounds like it's a possibility. gas exchange does happen in the middle ear apparently. but the eardrum is between the middle ear and the pinna (earflap). so yeah i dunno

So the smoke would be passing through the animals eardrum to get to the middle ear??

That cannot be good for the animal in any way.

yeah the only time gas goes through the eardrum is when you change the pressure, or "pop" your ears.
