Trance Music and god
    #1365282 - 03/11/03 09:20 AM (13 years, 8 months ago)

I notice a couple people here, say that what music or style of tripping is more respectful to the psyhedelic. And i say

Do what makes you comfortable!

Alot of people are putting to many rules on the psyhedelic experience. For example some people would say that only spiritual type or gender music is in better respects towards the shrooms, or whatever.

You can have the most powerful expierences with god with techno (specficly trance type) music just as easy as say a cd, with spiritual tracks on it. In fact i recommend trance to anyone, because not only is electronic music sorta made for increased perceptions of sound (trippin), but it can take you to a music-world (you'll know what im talking about if you've did this with acid) faster than any other type of music can. (this maybe my opinon though)

Losen up, all!, do whats comfortable for you.

Sorry if its off topic, maybe it should have been posted on the trip tips forum. I just wanted to see if anyone here has had spiritual experiences with trance type eletronic?

Um, once, while listening to None of This Is Real by Infected Mushroom, I had the image of dancing, naked women in my head. The whole thing had a glittery, unrealistic, music video feel to it.
I know what you mean, though, about the music world. I got more to this, but I am going to start a new post with it because it is going to cover a lot of ground.
Peace.

Aren't you doing exactly what you're saying sucks?

You claim that people say "no its cooler if you trip with THIS music" but then you say "no no thats unreasonable.. its cooler if you trip with TRANCE"

heh am I misunderstanding you?

I've listened to Shpongle the last time I smoked pot and it was amazing, I already made a post about this so I won't go into that here. My question is if there are any other trance type of music or electronica out there that I would enjoy if I like Shpongle. This is new music territory for me.

Shpongle-fans have to wait for the third album to get completely Shpongled again, but there's "Entheogenic - Entheogenic," "Shulman - Soundscapes and Modern Tales," the Juno Reactor albums "Bible of Dreams" and "Shango", and "Makyo - Yakshini" - those might interest you.

This is new music territory for everybody

All kinds of music can be amazing when your tripping.

Busy Child by Crystal Method was awesome.

Ahh! Memories

I like listening to IN FLAMES tripping. (Melodic death metal).
But they are my favorite band, and their music is so intelligent and complex and full of message.... ahhh, IN FUCKING FLAMES!!!!!!!!
Guess who's going to see them on TUESDAY?!!!!!!!!!
Peace.

Shroomism, you are AMAZING!

I just so happened to be listening to OPETH's Forest of October as I read your post........ spooky, to say the least.

I've always respected you, this IN FLAMES/ Opeth thing just adds icing to the cake.

PM me sometime if you want to talk about some great music...
(Children of Bodom and Dark Tranquiliy are good too..)

Peace.

But of course INFECTED MUSHROOM IS THE SHIT

Ive only listened to like one or two songs for sphongle, but from what i can tell, sphongle is kinda like a ancient trippyness. And infected mushroom is like trance with a evil twist! Very good music!

IN FLAMES? Is that a chick band?

I like Dark Soho, Juno Reactor, Sasha (Airdrawndagger), Shpongle, and I kinda like IM. Some of Paul Okenfolds' stuff is pretty good and I'm sure there is lots of good trance that's out there.

I hear people here say, that what kind of adult dipers are more respectful to my overactive bladder problems

Whatever makes you comfortable is what i say!

although i wish it were somewhat possable for them to design a mech bikini thong style under garment, with higher absorbancy.

Kid, what kind of drugs are you on? Melodic death metal bands are not described as chick bands.
Peace.
