Ames was a heady show. i saw no police interference at all if i didnt have someone too take back home the next day i would have for sure made stl, and the Chicago run. man i dont wanna be at home when i kno there a show going on.

I am listening to the Ames show right now. My buddy that went already found it on da webz.

I luuuuuuv CY Stephens Auditorium..... I scored front and center Panic tickets when I was in school there... this was 01 i think, That show was amazing!!

When Phish played in Ames in 99 the town was swarming with heads and there were LOTS of arrests in the lot & a few in the campus town area.

Has anyone had floor seats at MSG before? I'm trying to decide if the extra 25 bucks is worth getting Floor 1 in the way front, or if I'll be fine with cheaper tix at Floor 9 in the back..

Sunday isn't going to sell out, and you will probably be able to find tickets for Saturday.  There will be people selling tickets in front of MSG.  I already got my tickets for both nights, its gonna be a lot of fun.

I really can't believe how awesome the STL show was here. I've been listening to the grateful dead for years and I learned some things about them I didn't know before. No interference from university or city cops, hippies were treated great. Super easy to walk past the security people and get on the floor.

I just wish they would put it up on archive. They have Minneapolis, Ames, and the Chicago shows up but haven't put up thursday's show in the lou.

If you have a chance you really have to go see them. They sounded absolutely fantastic and it was pure magic.

im with you on that hahah still recovering from this incredible weekend..

though I do have to say.. the Garden was deff lacking crowd energy at some points (more so in the beginning of the first show). it seemed like i was surrounded by dead fans and not deadheads - too many people just standing around. me and my buddy had to make up for their lack of participation :royalrainbow:


both nights were amazing though :dancingbear:

Hey box of rain, did you enjoy the show in Reading? It was my least favorite out of the four I've seen. The venue sucks and the sound wasn't that great imo. Still a fun show and great to see all of the hometown folks out and about

Well the cops fucked me over so I lost money all day instead of making it, the show blew my mind, China, and Playing with a head full of my familys green and purples :eek: that night. great show for me, 'cept for the piggie's. Baltimore rocked , nice Blkthrtwind, crzy fngrs, too bad we couldn't have cought up :frown::gd_icon:

Went to the show in Minneapolis, and the boys were incredible. My first "Dead experience" and hopefully not my last.  :gd_icon:

"Comes a Time" stunned me, I recall being completely transfixed by the tune. And before leaving for the concert, I had made a wish that they would play lovelight. And when they did, holy chirst, I freaked. Good vibes all around, and never before had I heard so much DMT talk before.

The cops were having a field day. The lot was way too small so I didn't even bother trying to cram myself in there. Glad you had fun though. After the show I heard this really young girl on the phone with her dad crying, "Dad I'm surrounded by hippppiessss" *wah* lolol I couldn't help but bust out laughing
