I heard Warren Haynes is having a Allman Brothers/Gov't Mule NYE party in Atlanta, so there will be no Dead NYE this year  :tongue2:

rumors, shumers! I heard that Jerry is actually cryogenically frozen, and they are gonna thaw him out for NYE to play with JGB in Atlantis.

I read it on Philzone.com. More often than not, the rumours I read on there become true. I'm not just repeating what I heard from Joe Shmoe down the street. The rumour went on to say that Government Mule will most likely be joining them for NYE.

Well I figured you weren't repeating some random rumor you heard, I just wondered where you heard it.  I just find it unlikely because of the heavy presence of west coast NYE shows but maybe that is the very reason they are thinking of doing it out east. 

I think it should be Mule, Allmans and the Dead.  Make Warren get a work out  :grin:

I read a rumor on philzone a while back mentioning the idea of the Dead and Yes doing some combined gigs. Nothing became of that apparently.

My friend got back from Atlanta today and he said it was the best show he's been to. I guess the whole stage crew came out during drums. He said Warren's set was really good too. I didn't realize that Dave Schools, Mickey Hart & Billy Kreutzmann played with him. Anyways, it's sounds like they went out with a bang.
